Hi and thanks so much for returning to my blog. RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

One of the things that I do on Kindle Wired is review some of the blog content that is available on the Kindle, and one of the new blogs that I am reading is titled Daily Diabetic, and I found a few useful items that I wanted to share here…

The 5th Annual “Spoonful of Ginger” Auction Is Now Officially Open

The 5th Annual Spoonful of Ginger Auction Is Now Officially Open
Joslin Diabetes Center‘s 5th Annual “A Spoonful of Ginger” food tasting event takes place on Monday, Mar. 30, 2009. This fabulous evening of food tasting and fundraising brings together many of Boston’s finest chefs in support of Joslin’s Asian American Diabetes Initiative, which provides diabetes care, education and research programs for the Asian American population.

Whether you’re looking for something unique for yourself, searching for a gift for a special someone, or looking to add a little adventure to your life, you’re sure to find something in the auction catalog. Every bid helps support our cause.

The success of this online auction depends on spreading the word to as many people as possible. Help is needed. Please Refer a Friend and encourage them to participate so they don’t miss a single moment of the fun and excitement.

Click here to purchase tickets online – we look forward to seeing you at the event!

and here is an important way to save money thanks to Bayer….

Afford Your Diabetes Device With Bayer Simple Saver™ Program

Afford Your Diabetes Device With Bayer Simple Saver™ Program

Having diabetes isn’t cheap. Diabetes devices and testing is expensive. What if you can’t afford it?

Now, Bayer Diabetes Care has introduced Bayer Simple Saver™ Program – offering qualified people with diabetes several ways to save on their out-of-pocket costs for test strips, making testing more affordable and life with diabetes simpler.

The program is completely free for consumers and can be used in most states. The Bayer Simple Saver Program can be accessed by consumers via a website which will be promoted through Bayer advertising, physician offices, on-line, through Bayer customer service and in pharmacies across the country.

Most consumers will be able to save instantly at the pharmacy counter in nearly all locations nationwide. When a consumer qualifies, Bayer will pay up to $360 per year depending upon their state of residence or health plan.

While I’m not certain which blog I will be choosing for my Kindle Kontent blog pick next week, the few items I found on Daily Diabetic.com today, were certainly informative and of course useful.
