My Churg Strauss News Article

Good Morning!

My news article has appeared in the Times Herald Record, in both it’s print edition and it’s online companion.

The story is titled ” Rare Disease Hits Middletown Man ”

Here is a pic and a small excerpt from the article that in featured today…

“They were looking for the underlying cause at this point,” Newmark, 52, said.

The pulmonologist and rheumatologist handling his case had a theory, confirmed with a kidney biopsy and a count of white blood cells: a rare form of vasculitis called Churg-Strauss Syndrome. “Here I am with this disease nobody had ever heard of,” Newmark said. “

I do not want to take away too much from the actual article, thus just the small snippit.

More things to follow, and I am working on the actual start of the group sometime in September as I want to attend to some details before moving forward with the group.
