My Domestic Life On Your Kindle

Posted by Lew on June 13, 2009

Hi and thanks so much for returning to my blog. RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Hi Everyone.

I have decided to take this blog to a new frontier…Amazon.com’s Electronic Reader the Kindle!

That’s right, if you own a Kindle and you follow ” My Domestic Life “, now you can catch my blog content on your very own Kindle.

In a previous post about wanting to make this blog, an ” Authority Blog ” on this subject, I thought that this would be a great way to offer this content through another distribution channel..and to be honest this is another way for me to take a further step toward blogging full time and earning a living doing so.

Of course, I will have to up the ante here and deliver make focused content and do so more often, so you can expect to see posts more frequently here on the blog.

So, more to come, I assure you.

Social Networking: Using Twitter And Other Techniques

Posted by Lew on March 28, 2009

How Social Are You?

In today’s Internet driven world, this can become a very relevant question.

Until now, I have stayed away from this idea of ” Social Networking ” on the web and this might have been a mistake on my part, as with most thing concerning the net and it’s ever changing re-invention, I have almost always adapted new things on the internet way after they have been tried, proven, and adapted…almost to the point of their becoming irrelevant by the time I take any real notice of them…even this blog you are reading now was more happen stance than deliberate..but I have decided to adapt the techniques used in social networking and using such socials channels as ” Twitter ” and ” Google Talk “, along with a report that I have downloaded onto my Kindle by Elliot Webb titled The Twitter Technique
.

Tomorrow I’ll talk about the steps I have already taken for this experiment.

A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To…STRESS!

Posted by Lew on February 18, 2009

It’s always nice to have things going your way isn’t it?

No real hassles or worries on your horizons…till you go to your mailbox!

It’s always nice when you get something in the mail, that just hits your reset button right?

Well isn’t this just special.

Okay, so my question is ” How Do We Handle The Stress That’s Crossed Our Path ?”

My kindle Review

Posted by Lew on January 28, 2009

I had written in a previous post about this ” New Fangled ” technology, and how much I really loved it, in regards to my new I-Pod….but now I’ve really gone and done it now!

I don’t know how familiar you might be with these new hand held reading devices..you know readers that will actually let you down load and store full, first run copies of books…

What you are looking at here is Amazon’s ” Kindle “,

an ” Electronic Reading ” device and I think ( for me and my lifestyle of clutter! ) this could be the start of a beautiful relationship. I have so many hardcover books, like books in the ” Shannara ” series of books from prolific author ” Terry Brooks “, to all of my ” Star Trek ” paperbacks, this device lets you download and electronically store full novels, which I think is just fantastic, and will certainly please the wife, as far as my stopping collecting magazines ( no, don’t worry dear reader, I’ll still need to collect my comics! ), books an the like, and truth to tell, it won’t hurt me to become a bit more organized, and less of a pack rat!

The Experiment Continues..A Positive Mental Outlook, Week 2, Day 4

Posted by Lew on January 15, 2009

Okay, first, these titles for my posts are starting to be a bit lengthy don’t you think?

Anyway, this is ” Week 2 ” of my experiment, into my fourth day now, and except for the slight ( well actually not so slight ) hiccup the other day, all in all I feel that things are going well all in all.

As I mentioned in yesterday’s post update, I have started to re-read Joel Osteen’s first book, ” Your Best Life Now ” and I will touch upon why I am reading this book again, and I might just give you reason to go out and buy the book also.

Of course reading this book and some of the other periodicals that I try to stay up on is not such a task thanks to my Amazon.com (semi ) new reading device, the ” Kindle ” something that was well worth the money and I highly recommend if you have the available cash to spend.

Well, it looks like we had a bit of precipitation overnight, but nothing so terrible that I can complain about, it’s just the idea!
